These maps were first released for Team Fortress 2, but some of these fans would even go onto make a custom Mother 3-themed gamemode, called Ultimate Chimera Hunt, made by Aska and Fluxmage, which was eventually included in the now defunct GMod Tower minigame collection (this evolved into the "Little Crusaders" gamemode on Tower Unite)! Since then this gamemode has been updated by two members of the UCH community. Many of these fans have even gone on to release custom maps for different Source Engine games. Not only is the game charming, but also quirky, lovable, and HUGE! The community itself is pretty huge as well with fans coveting the other two games in the Mother trilogy as well.
It's no secret: EarthBound (aka Mother 2) is one of my favorite games of all time. THESE MAPS REQUIRE TEAM FORTRESS 2 INSTALLED & MOUNTED IN ORDER TO FUNCTION PROPERLY
